We are compiling a list of doctors and medical providers that are continuing to offer treatment to our personal injury clients.
These physicians have advised they have systems in place to continue offering medical appointments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, we are aware of providers offering at-home physical therapy exercises and consultations. These doctors have the capability to order labs, write a prescription or refer you to other specialists making it easy for you to get necessary remote care and continue to make progress in recovery.
These evaluations are often times taking place by video conferencing and telemedicine. If an in-office visit is necessary due to a fracture or serious injury requiring surgery additional preventative measures are being taken by these physicians including preventing contact between patients by spacing out appointment times and extensive sanitation efforts including requiring patients to wash their hands before appointments, disinfecting rooms between appointments and using surgical masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
We have are also aware of multiple facilities that continue to perform emergent MRI or other diagnostic imaging for those involved in a personal injury case.
