Unfortunately, a serious car accident occurred in Santee this afternoon at least three people were injured in a three-car crash near West Hills High School in Santee. The crash occurred just before 1:00pm at Mast Boulevard and Medina Drive.
The collision happened in the 8700 block of Mast Boulevard near Medina Drive in front of West Hills High School. It is not immediately known if any of the drivers or passengers involved in the crash were students at the high school.
One person was taken by Mercy Air helicopter to a hospital and at least two were transported by ambulance, according to Heartland Fire .
The victims’ conditions are unknown and the cause of the crash is under investigation and no further details.
